Two great Hall of Famers joined Talkin' Old School for this show! Jim Yarbrough, a member of the Florida Gator Athletic Hall of Fame and Coach Phil Ziglar, who is the all-time winningest Football Coach at TWO different high schools--his alma mater Boone High School and Hagerty High School--discuss their eventful careers on this Talkin' Old School episode. Jim Yarbrough starred at Tight End for the Gators from 1966-68, a great era of Florida Football. He was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1969 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions and played Offensive Tackle for the Lions for 9 years. Jim Yarbrough has been recognized by the Gainesville Sun as one of the 100 all-time greatest Gator football players and as a member of the Gators All-20th Century team. Coach Phil Ziglar was inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in January. His 43 year career as a high school coach and teacher includes serving as an assistant coach at Colonial, Dr Phillips, Oak Ridge and Timber Creek high schools and Head Coach at Boone for 23 years and Hagerty for 6 years; he turned both programs from perennial losers into Championship caliber programs.
