Gator Great Richard Trapp in the first half hour reflects on his Gator Football career as a SEC-record setting WR for the Gators from 1965-67. Trapp's highlights include starting at WR in Florida's first 2 New Years Day Bowl Games, the 1966 Sugar Bowl and the 1967 Orange Bowl; being named to All-American teams for both football and baseball, and playing in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills and the San Diego Chargers. Later, Orlando native and Pine Castle Christian Academy alum and Auburn All-American Emily Carosone talks about her journey to becoming a member of the Italian Olympic Softball team.

Two Apopka Blue Darter Football Stars from different eras join host Roger Franklin Williams on high school graduation weekend and Memorial Weekend 2021. In the first half graduating Senior DE Devin Barnes reflects on his high school experiences on the football field and in the classroom and discusses his goals for the future as he prepares to enter Catawba College in the Fall to pursue his education and continue his football career. The second half of the show features our Memorial Weekend Tribute to those who gave their lives in military service defending the United States of America. We are honored to have Army West Point Hall of Fame QB, US Army officer and former Blue Darter All State QB Leamon Hall join us. Leamon talks about his career at West Point during the turbulent immediate post-Vietnam War era, his service as a United States Army officer, shares his personal tribute to his fellow soldiers who gave all and even talks a little about his outstanding career at Apopka High.

1981 BOONE BRAVES STATE CHAMPIONS WITH JOHN HART JERRY RYDER & RONNIE LAMKIN

The 1981 Boone Braves Baseball team captured the State Championship and the hearts of the City of Orlando during a simpler time in Central Florida. Now 40 years later Head Coach John Hart, RHP Jerry Ryder and 3B Ronnie Lamkin relive the challenges and triumphs of that special season and share the story of the life long friendships the players and Coach Hart have had over the past 40 years. From his first high school Head Coaching job in 1981, John Hart went on to fame in Major League Baseball as a 2-time MLB Executive of the Year and is widely recognized for orchestrating one of the greatest franchise turnarounds in MLB history with the Cleveland Indians of the 1990's. He is also a former Major League Manager and former President of Baseball Operations for the Atlanta Braves. Hear their story on this special Talkin' Old  School Broadcast. 

APOPKA BASEBALL 2021 PART 2 TRADITION AND SENIOR SHOWCASE SEMINOLE

Part 2 of the special presentation Apopka Baseball 2021, 50 Years of Baseball Excellence and Brian Paldin and Jameel Heywood, founder of  MADLEGZ TRAINING. Blue Darter Baseball Alumni Don Heller, Robert Christianson, David Logan, Mike Martin and Elijah Bennett share their stories of Apopka Baseball "back in the day". In the second half, Brian Paldin and Jameel Heywood discuss the "1st Annual Senior Showcase, Seminole Edition" hosted by Lake Brantley High School. It's an event to help talented Seminole County Senior Basketball players showcase their skills for college coaches and programs.
