Frank Pomarico, Tri-Captain of the 1973 Notre Dame National Champions and author of the book, "Ara's Knights", shares his first hand account of the 1973 Sugar Bowl Number 1 vs Number 2 matchup between Notre Dame, coached by Coach Ara Parseghian and Alabama coached by Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. Notre Dame prevailed in stirring 24-23 last minute victory in a game where the lead changed hands numerous times.
