Frank Pomarico, Tri-Captain of the 1973 Notre Dame National Champions and author of the book, "Ara's Knights, Coach Ara Parseghian and the Golden Era of Notre Dame Football",  talks 2025 College Football Playoff with host Roger Franklin Williams. It's the final segment of the "Talkin' Old School 2025 College Football Playoff Series" presented by Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster and Gatorland, the Alligator Capital of the World in Orlando, Florida.

Coach John Hemmer, who led Oak Ridge High School to 5 State Championships, was a member of the coaching staff on the USA Track & Field team at the 1982 Barcelona Olympics and is a member of 9 Halls of Fame, including St Francis Prep in NYC, talks Oak Ridge High School Hall of Fame. He is joined by fellow St Francis Prep Alum Frank Pomarico, author of the book "Ara's Knights" and Tri-Captain of the 1973 Notre Dame National Champions, as we also talk about the current state of college football.

Frank Pomarico, Tri-Captain of the 1973 Notre Dame National Champions and author of the book, "Ara's Knights", shares his first hand account of the 1973 Sugar Bowl Number 1 vs Number 2 matchup between Notre Dame, coached by Coach Ara Parseghian and Alabama coached by Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. Notre Dame prevailed in stirring 24-23 last minute victory in a game where the lead changed hands numerous times. The interview with Frank Pomarico was part of the Talkin' Old School New Years Day 2025 Special, which featured in-depth interviews that  highlighted 3 historic New Years Bowl Games where the College Football National Championship was decided. 

Eddie Williams, starting Safety on the 1983 National Champion Miami Hurricanes and Apopka Blue Darter Football Alum, talks about the Canes dramatic New Years Day 1984 Orange Bowl victory over Nebraska, including a detailed account of Nebraska's failed last second 2-point conversion attempt which gave Miami the win and their first National Championship under Coach Howard Schnellenberger. He also talks about his coach at Apopka High School, Coach Chip Gierke, and his exceptional positive impact on his players lives and the rise of Apopka Blue Darter Football to elite status.

Alabama Football Great Robin Parkhouse, All-American DE and Defensive Captain of the famed 1971 Crimson Tide, Alabama's first Wishbone team under Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, reflects on that  historic Alabama season and the New Years Day 1972 Orange Bowl that matched Number 1 ranked Nebraska and Number 2 ranked Alabama. This interview was part of the New Years Day 2025 Talkin' Old School broadcast that reflected on 3 historic New Years Day Bowl Games that crowned National Champions in the pre-playoff and BCS era--the 1/1/72 Orange Bowl; the 12/31/73 Sugar Bowl and the 1/1/84 Orange Bowl.
