Talkin' Old School's Broadcast of the 2023 Oak Ridge Hall of Fame Preview from The Thirsty Gator Oyster Pub and Sports Bar with Co-Host Coach John Hemmer, Florida Track & Field Legend. The program highlights the 2023 HOF Class AND includes interviews with Pioneers Legends from "back in the day" including Olympic Gold medalist Michelle Burrell-Finn (1992 Barcelona Olympics), Football & Multi-Sport Great Earl Carr, Pan-American Games Gold medalist James Rolle and Football Great and Multi-Sport Athlete Tim Groves. The broadcast also includes 2023 Inductees Gerald Jackson and Coach Lou Fiorelli. Host Roger Franklin Williams and Coach Hemmer closed the broadcast with a shoutout to Football and Baseball Great Larry Hall, who established a football season record of 12 interceptions, including 3 in the dramatic overtime Regional Playoff Victory over Vero Beach in 1974.

In the second half Coach Jameel Heywood, Co-founder, with Brian Paldin, of Madlegz Basketball and the Senior Showcase and Charles Caporaso, Co-MVP of the 2023 Senior Showcase.

Dr Frank Rohter, Founding Athletic Director of UCF Knights Athletics (then known as FTU) is the featured guest in this edition of the Old School Knights Series, a production of Talkin' Old School. Russ Salerno, UCF Athletics first paid Assistant Coach (assistant Basketball Coach under the legendary Torchy Clark) joins Dr Rohter to share firsthand experiences of the early days of UCF Athletics, such as basketball practices on outdoor concrete courts and an infamous road trip in New York where half the team (traveling in cars) got lost in a snowstorm on the way to the game. Dr Rohter gives the inside accounts of the hiring of the first UCF Head Coaches (Torchy Clark Basketball and Gerry Gergley, Wrestling), which included a game of one-on-one with Dr Rohter as part of Torchy Clark's interview process and an interview, that was supposed to be a rejection interview, where Coach Gerry Gergley refused to take no for an answer.
